Choosing your ink and shirt color is one of the fun parts of designing, however it can also be a bit tricky. Certain t-shirt and ink color combinations may look more vibrant on a computer screen than they do in real life. Computer screens often have filters to make colors appear more vibrant.
We are aware of this, and do check every order that is placed. If we spot a potential design issue, we will contact you to discuss it, as well as suggest an alternative color.
Here are some easy guidelines to for selecting great color combos:
- Dark colored shirts look great with these lighter ink colors. However, maroon, and dark greens may look good in our design center, but printed, the ink looks more brown.
- When printer on a lighter shirt, be careful of lighter ink colors for the design and text. These colors are visible in our Design Center, but may not be visible at a distance. Sometimes adding an outline may help.
